Inspiring the Future of AR/VR at a National Science Center
Client: The Virtual Science Center & The Lawrence Hall of Science at UC Berkeley
The Goal
To produce a five-episode documentary series for "Reinventing Reality," a major traveling science center exhibit focused on the future of AR and VR technology. The series was designed to inspire visitors by showcasing a diverse group of working professionals from world-leading companies in the field.
My Role
As the Director of Photography and Video Editor for the series, I was responsible for capturing broadcast-quality footage and crafting the final narrative for all five episodes. My role included:
Production: Traveling to high-profile locations, including Microsoft's headquarters in Seattle and JPL in Pasadena, to film interviews and b-roll.
Technical Execution: Managing all on-location filming, lighting, and audio recording to ensure a polished final product.
Post-Production: Editing the complete five-episode series that would be displayed in the museum exhibit.
The Impact
The documentary series was the centerpiece of a major exhibit, telling the story of innovation to thousands of visitors across North America.
